Every Corsair project is bespoke, with pricing calculated according to the chosen design and finish on a per-square-metre basis. Costs can vary depending on the complexity of the design, selected materials and protective finish, surface preparation, project location, access, logistics and the labour time required.
Because no two projects are the same, we do not use a single fixed starting price. Following an initial consultation, we will assess your requirements and provide a tailored quotation based on the design, finish and scope of work.

Unlike standard paint, which sits on the surface as a flat, uniform film, bespoke decorative finishes are artisanal multi-layered plasters and mineral coatings. Applied by hand with specialist trowels, they create genuine physical texture, organic tonal movement, and light-reactive depth. Finishes like authentic lime-based Venetian plaster and micro-cement are also significantly more durable, breathable, and long-lasting than conventional emulsions, turning your walls into architectural focal points rather than plain backdrops.
-
Yes. When treated with our specialist Weather & Water-Resistant Finish, our Venetian plasters, micro-cements, and concrete finishes form a completely seamless, hydrophobic surface. This makes them an exceptional, grout-free alternative to traditional tiles in walk-in wet rooms, shower enclosures, bathroom walls, and kitchen splashbacks, eliminating unsightly grout discolouration and resisting moisture, mould, and mildew.
-
In many cases, yes. Our specialist micro-cement and architectural concrete finishes have high-adhesion formulations designed to bond to various sound, prepared substrates, including standard plasterboard, stable backing plaster, timber elements, and sound existing ceramic tiles. During our initial survey, we assess your substrate to ensure proper preparation, taping, and priming for a crack-free, permanent finish.

Our finishes are engineered to be hard-wearing and durable. Depending on the protective finish applied (Matt, Polish, or Weather-Resistant), routine cleaning simply requires wiping down the surface with a soft, clean microfibre cloth and warm water or a pH-neutral cleaner. We advise avoiding harsh abrasive scrubbers, bleach, and acid-based chemicals. For waxed Venetian plaster, an occasional re-waxing after several years will maintain its mirror-like lustre.
-
Absolutely. We believe physical sample boards are an essential part of the design process. Because our finishes react dynamically to natural light and room orientation, Corsair produces bespoke 300x300mm sample boards for every client and interior designer. This allows you to inspect the exact texture, metallic relief, and colorway directly in your space under your actual lighting conditions before we begin work on site.

Yes. Every installation Corsair delivers is completely bespoke. As seen in our statement installations, we can blend different textures and techniques—such as embedding horizontal strata of champagne gold, bronze, or rose-gold metallic relief across a honed architectural concrete chimney breast. We work closely with you or your architect to tailor the texture, metallic intensity, and sheen levels to your exact vision.
-
Timelines vary depending on wall dimensions, substrate preparation, and the complexity of the layering technique. A single statement feature wall or media wall typically takes between 3 to 5 days. Because each coat—from initial primer and base coats to decorative layering, burnishing, and protective sealers—requires specific curing times, our craftspeople never rush the application process, ensuring an uncompromised, quality-controlled finish.
